Jesse and Peter are really famous meetup organizers since they came up with the idea of a 24 hours, non-stop, worldwide UX meetup in June 2020: The 24 Hours of UX (https://24hoursofux.com/). They will talk about why they initially started with organizing meetups in the first place, how they came up with the idea of the 24HoursOfUX, why they put so much effort in all of this, and last but not least, about the benefits of being so enthusiastic and active in the UX grassroots scene.
In other words: Networking is not the dirty word that it used to be!

24HoursOfUX brought local UX communities to a global audience. Local and independent meetup organizers from all over the world shared their experiences. Even if the event is over for 2020, this might not be the last 24HoursOfUX. Johannes Lehner started to organize Meetups as Regional Representative of the UXPA Austria in 2019. In 2020 he initiated UX Graz, a loose community of UX practitioners, who share the same vision. Johannes is passionate about UX and knows that knowledge and experience exchange helps to improve your own skills as well.
