Hosted by TNW, this online workshop "will discuss the Design Thinking process with examples and apply the techniques with a few hands-on activities!" The speaker is Reecha Bharali, who works "in improving developer experiences for Google Cloud Platform as a UX Researcher." Ms. Bharali "has worked previously to improve consumer properties at Google's advertising org., Yahoo Inc. and Pearson Education. She is a trained researcher with a specialization in Human Computer Interaction in her Master's from Indiana University and holds a Bachelor's degree in Design (Interaction) from IIT Guwahati. "At Google, design thinking helps us foster a culture of innovation, and lets our teams generate and test ideas creatively and effectively, whether they’re trying to bring internet access to remote communities or developing new methodologies for interviewing potential employees." I have worked for some companies gyro, W&S, GE, and now P&G. My current focus is now sustainability and how technology can help P&G customers use less water. "Joey Brennan, Staff Product UI Designer: I've been a digital product designer at Alchemy since its inception, a little over 3 years ago. Hitting the ground sprinting, I, with Alchemy's first pod team, designed, built, and launched Olay's Skin Advisor. Since then, I’ve been working in Oral Care to design, build, launch and refine the new Oral-B mobile app. "Veronica Polinedrio, Staff Product UX Designer / UXR: I am a product UX designer and researcher within P&G’s Home Care team, working on digital design innovation for IoT. The September Book of the Month is Jolt Award Winner, Lean UX: Designing Great Products with Agile Teams. Co-author Jeff Gothelf has graciously agreed to join us for a virtual lunch and chat session on Wednesday, September 2nd at noon PST.
