Our journey to transform Marktplaats into a design-led, customer-centric organisation in the past 1,5 year. I will share where we were coming from and what we have done to accelerate our change.

About Jeroen Mulder
Jeroen is the User Experience Lead at Marktplaats (eBay) for one year now. He is building a new UX & Design team that is responsible to improve the experience across the entire customer journey. Staying relevant, meeting expectations and adding delight, as well as the value of design on a strategic level have been the main areas of focus. Previously Jeroen worked at Funda for 9 years, where as Head of User Experience he launched a complete redesign of the platform in 2015.

Marktplaats has been The Netherlands’ leading classifieds site for the past 18 years. Every month we help 8 million people connect with each other to exchange second-hand or new goods and services.
