With UX meets Big Tech series, UXify Eindhoven welcomes large organisations worldwide to speak about design their design culture. After LinkedIn from North America joining us in March; Adyen, the payment giant based in Europe (Amsterdam to be precise) is with us in April!
Adyen product design team went from 8 to 30 people in less than 3 years. This brought dramatic changes to pretty much every aspect of how the team is functioning. How do you scale "family"? How does it impact design critique meetings? How a referral system can become your enemy? We will talk about how different cultures can impact your own team microclimate and many other aspects of building a diverse and inclusive team that works together successfully.
About the speaker 🎙
Olga Mishyna (she/her) is Head of Product Design at Adyen, fintech company with a fast-growing product design team. She has more than 10 years of experience in building brands, solving UX and UI challenges for companies like ING, Nordea, Allianz Investment and KLM. She's originally from Belarus and for the past 10 years living in Amsterdam.
She believes in simplicity and building a strong connection between businesses and users, driving organic growth of a product. Her passion is helping scaling design teams with diversity and equity in mind.
In her spare time, she enjoys nerding about wine over a plate of smelly cheeses.
