In this tech talk, we would like to present the ideas behind Uber's open-sourced web framework: Fusion.js.
We will showcase some of the core concepts behind the library: request lifecycle management, plugins & enhancements, isomorphic codebase, building user interfaces in conjunction with React.js, and how those can be utilized to build robust, high-performant web apps.

Meet our speakers:
😎 Todor Grigorov
Playing video games was an everyday activity for Todor during his childhood. This ‘addiction’ eventually grew into genuine curiosity for computers, and technology in general. Soon after getting his software engineering degree in Varna, he decided to move to Sofia and join Uber as a web developer. There he’s had the chance to do the work that he is most passionate about, like building complex UIs using the latest web frameworks and solving challenging technical problems, at scale. Apart from that, he is (really) obsessed with football, enjoys reading, casual running, and cooking.
😎 Alexander Marinov
Has an experience with various technologies, but his heart lies with web development, although some people still think he only does CSS (still better than his parents thinking he is a “computer specialist”). During the last 7 years he’s been busy writing SPAs for fintech and transportation companies using multiple frameworks ranging from AngularJS to React and its ecosystems. In 2018 he joined Uber to work on their CMS-like platform for authoring documents.
