SUMMARY:The prop making workshop is intended to teach the skills necessary for making anime and stage props. We will be covering Resin casting, 3D modeling, 3D printing and hand crafting realistic props. Our Guest Aaron Gronowski is a professional modeler and Maya instructor. James and Bowie will be covering hand crafting and molding techniques. Bring Clip art and sketches of the objects you want to make or half finished projects and we will show you how to complete them. Or Just Bring yourself and take notes.

GOAL:
To demonstrate 3D Modeling, 3D printing, Hand crafting and Molding Props

THINGS TO BRING:Sketches and Clip art of your prop (as many views as you can find. Top/Side/bottom), Soft measuring tape, note Book and/or laptop.

If you want to work with Foam Bring Extruded polyurethane Foam insulation, Epoxy filler, Polyurethane resin (for closed foam) , Electric sander, Sandpaper.

If you want to work with Molds bring Resin, mold rubber or silicon, Brown Hardboard Wall Panel, hot glue gun.

Do not Go Crazy. This can be done on the cheap. You do not need gallons of resin or Hundreds of dollars. Use some sense if unsure, just come to the workshop and we will show you how.
