We've been thinking about the quality of being unhurried. There’s a lot of pressure to get a move on in life, but the best craftsmanship and the wiser life choices are made when we’re able to pause and reflect. This is an experiment in hosting conversations designed to have a gentler pace, no interruptions and a more reflective nature.

Meeting size: maximum 8 Members per Unhurried Conversation. Location: Cafes in Santa Cruz, CA Members: Open to All, ages 18+. Free. Donations of $1.00 are appreciated (but no pressure, no problem :)

Johnnie Moore & Antony Quinn are the founders of  They started Unhurried Conversations in Cambridge UK in 2014 and their colleague Viv McWaters did the first Unhurried Conversation in Australia in 2015.

Ally Finkel is the Founder & Facilitator of Unhurried Santa Cruz. You can learn more about her Unhurried thoughts at Unhurried Santa Cruz is the first Unhurried Conversation MeetUp in the United States!
