What we’re about
This is a group for anyone interested in sharing their experience living in the U.S. as a young African. It is also a platform for anyone interested in making new friends and learning more about the diversity of the African culture. <br> <br> The purpose of this group is to allow young professionals Africans and others to have the opportunity that they might not otherwise have to socialize together in a laid back, accepting and open setting.
<br> A member of this group is called Young African. The group will explore the DMV area, mostly, meeting-up at museums, Jazz venues, concerts, bars, clubs, restaurants, happy hours, volunteer opportunities, charity events, live sporting events, and the like.
