Finally, after almost a two year break, we are kicking off another meet up - In HYBRID format (ONLINE)!

due to COVID situation in Berlin we are going competley online with the event

The meetup consists of both talks and free roam activities.

Our goal is to bring together people from diverse backgrounds to share their interest in Unity 3D and learn together. Speakers from Unity and Microsoft / MVPs will join us onboard with inspirational talks.
Especially, we are also happy to announce that with this KickOff we will have a "Mixed Reality PlaySpace" that allows our visitors to experience
and explore XR devices like

• Oculus 1 + 2.

I’ve been a gamer and a geek all my life ever since I first played Super Mario Bros. when I was 5 years old.
After changing from my first career goal of being an architect to a computer engineer, I enjoyed developing small indie game projects back home in Puerto Rico. And after I was convinced that game development is where I should be next,
I wanted to learn more about the gaming industry, so I moved to Washington State to get my master's degree in computer science. I've been mostly focused on tools development for designers, artists, etc.
But now I'm happy that I get to try making content with new Unity tech!

The HoloLens is still a fairly new Mixed Reaility device that lets the user experience and interact with holograms in the real world. Microsoft provides a package for Unity, the Mixed Reality Toolkit, that contains all the tools, assets and elements to enable the users and developers to easily create their own Mixed Reality experiences.
Martin will give a short introduction to the MRTK, where to get it, how to integrate it in your projects, its features and sample assets.
