What we're about

Unity Church of Clearwater
"Expressing our Spirituality through the Law of Attraction"

Unity Church of Clearwater is a free and open, autonomous spiritual community, welcoming all who are drawn to our church to be inspired, encouraged and empowered to express the Christ consciousness of wisdom, wholeness, abundance, love and peace. A place where you can grow in self-understanding and make new friends. UCC has been teaching the "Law of Attraction" in Clearwater for over fifty years.

We are people, Truth students all, who take their journey of self discovery seriously, but enjoy the search in a fun non-judgmental setting.

In addition to positive, powerful Sunday messages from The Reverend Leddy Hammock, with the excellent Unity band, UCC offers a wide variety of classes, guest speakers and concerts.

A diverse congregation devoted to human rights, our "House Built on Love" embraces the belief that "we are all one people."

At UCC you are encouraged to "Keep the faith, and lose the guilt."

Prayer and Meditation Service

Unity Peace Chapel

Every Wednesday Evening Prayer & Meditation Service 7:00-7:30 PM Peace Chapel Prayer is the foundation of the Unity movement and of Unity Church of Clearwater. Acknowledging the fact that prayer is the heart of our ministry, we invite you to share a weekly Wednesday evening Prayer and Meditation Service. The service will be led by Rev. Judy Tafelski. The Wednesday evening service features guided meditation, silence, and prayer. Meditation is the process of listening to the “still, small voice” of God within us. Affirmative prayer is the highest form of creative thought and includes the release of negative thinking as well as holding in mind statements of spiritual truth. The contemplative nature of entering into the silence allows people of like mind to share the power of sitting in the silence together. We welcome you to join us in connecting with community and raising the consciousness of oneness that is at the core of our Unity teachings. Let us lift our consciousness to new heights through prayer and meditation and help heal ourselves and our world!

Hebrew Language and Torah Study

Unity Cafe

Thursday evenings, 7 - about 8:15 pm: love offering basis: All interested adults are most welcome! Let's learn together! Thursdays 7:00 PM Café The Hebrew language class with Rabbi Baseman is an informal, relaxed class for beginners that helps us to understand the language of the scriptures Jesus knew. It’s fun to learn a new alphabet! It keeps the mind sharp and helps us put aside the worries of the day and, besides, you will be able to leave notes around your house to keep your loved ones guessing about what you’re up to. Also, just think: if you can learn to read Hebrew, what ELSE might you be able to learn — like, maybe calculus! In the Torah study, emphasis is on learning more about the scriptures Jesus knew. Discussion helps to bring light to ancient Bible mysteries. Take, for instance, the Book of Job, where you’re likely to see yourself and discover that your story is not so new, after all. Trust me, we have deep, fascinating discussions and we learn a lot, and we relate to timeless human struggles and we laugh hard, too, just like in first grade.
