In November, I was wonderfully surprised to find this beautifully decorated tree near Stanley Park. It drew me in. Upon the branches were messages from 3 and 4 year-old children about how they bring peace into their lives. As we approach the holiday season, let’s think deeply about peace on Earth. Hear the voices of the children. Contemplate the kind of peace you want to bring into your life. Feel restored and refreshed as you move into the season.

Margot McKinnon, is the author of the book The Exquisiteness of Being Human: The body, mind, spirit, soul dominance theory. She recently earned her doctoral degree from the University of Oxford with a thesis on how to bring the concept of spirituality into our Alberta public education system. Margot, now an Education Consultant, facilitates workshops and individual learning on her book, the concept of Being a Spirit Dominant person, professional burnout, parenting in the age of anxiety, and the concept of a spiritually sensitive professional practice.
