Peace and Ease in Turbulent Times
It can be challenging to find peace and ease in these turbulent times. However, in the moment of turmoil, it IS possible to shift to a state of ease and balance. Learn how in this three-week Thursday night course, which ends Sept. 27. You will gain proficiency in a practice of using simple Heartmath® tools, breathing exercises and personal daily heart reminders. You are invited to take this opportunity to return to your heart and connect with Spirit to create more peace in your life and in the world during this month of World Peace and Prayer. Your instructor is Dr. Pamela Aasen, a consulting psychologist, educator, researcher and change agent for individuals and organizations. She is a licensed Heartmath trainer and coach who has been teaching Heartmath since 2000. The course takes place in Room 3, upstairs above the Community Room. It is open to everyone, and registration is not required. Drop-ins are welcome. Classes are offered on a free-will donation basis ($10 to $20 per class suggested). Unity of Walnut Creek is a vibrant and open community that offers a positive path for spiritual living through teachings that are relevant, practical, inspiring and are drawn from metaphysical interpretations of the Bible, Gnostic Gospels and other sacred scriptures, plus poetry, mysticism, nature and heart-centered stories.
