AT LAST! FINALLY! Finally we're having a DUUG dedicated to [REDACTED]! I know you'll all be delighted, indeed relieved to know that we'll have an entire evening where we can discuss the use of [REDACTED] and all of the related techniques associated with intensive [REDACTED] use in games and [REDACTED]. You're welcome, Dublin!

This DUUG is happening on Weds the 27th of June from 6.20-22.00pm!

The anticipation can only rise as we announce that this month we are hosted at that most excellent of spaces, DoSpace! Come for the [REDACTED], stay for DoSpace's beautifully appointed co-working environments, modern event space, kitchens, 450Mbps Fiber internet and membership perks! #DoSeries !

Thanks also to the Dublin City Council who are helping DoSpace to sponsor our event! A kickass initiative, I think you'll agree. =D

+++ If you're going to attend CODENAME KUSANAGI, please wait from 6.30pm in the bar below DoSpace before the main talks begin at 7.00pm in the event space - we'll make sure you can find us. =) +++

PRESENTATIONS A and B will be given by resident DUUG expert on [REDACTED], Andrew Hynes!

Andrew is a game developer working at Black Shamrock Games in Dublin, who began making games while undertaking the MSc. in Digital Games at DIT - where friends would push him to pursue a career in game development! While leaving the course, he encountered Olivier Masclef who was on the lookout for talented programmers in order to start a new studio in Dublin. Two years later, Andrew has worked on three projects as a programmer for gameplay, systems and AI and has just begun his new role as a lead programmer - and has since learned what a 'producer' does...!

When he's not making games for work, he's making games at jams, reading books and going to gigs! Ultimately, his experience in [REDACTED] has [REDACTED] [REDACTED] flesh-eating [REDACTED] of all our tomorrows [REDACTED] is [REDACTED] from dark singularity, beyond the expectations of [REDACTED] [REDACTED].

We're in good hands!

If you're bringing a project to playtest/show at DUUG, we encourage you to consider adding a scoreboard to the project! There's nothing like a little friendly competition to get people queuing up to take another crack at your game...! (And if you'd like some basic scoreboard code to get started, feel free to ask the DUUG organisers on the day!)

RSVP, ASAP! We'll see you there!
