What are the top two or three things you'd like to get out of the UVref Meetup?

Meeting new people and hearing new ideas or perspectives on how this transition can take place. I'd also like some help building a solar dehydrator.

What are two or three things you would like to offer to UVref or to our members? Answers could be areas of expertise, experience, perspective, anything you're hoping to bring here.

I plan to share some home grown food baked in my sun oven. I'd love to set up a cooperative electric car ownership so we can drive green to Montpellier.

What are two actions you have taken or plan to take to reduce your carbon footprint?

Keep it a little cooler in my home (that's where the knitting comes in) and turn my aging hybrid car for an EV powered by the sun (haven't done this yet).

What happened in your life or what did you learn about that made this issue your top priority?

I have family in California, and the 20 deaths from the mudslides in Montecito kicked up my game a notch. I used to take piano lessons in Montecito.

This is my 1st time as a Meetup organizer, but I've been organizing since second grade. Nothing excites me more than working with others to achieve something I can't do by myself.
