### Day Trip to Stockholm – City Walk in Östermalm

Meetup: 10:00 AM at Uppsala Resecentrum
Join us for a full-day social and cultural outing to Stockholm! We’ll spend the day exploring the borough of Östermalm together — walking around in the morning, enjoying lunch, then some shopping or your own activity before we head to the Modern Museum in the evening.
Plan for the day
Travel:
We meet at Uppsala Resecentrum and travel together. Buy your own UL/SL ticket or a Mälartåg ticket, depending on how you will travel. The host will share their location in a WhatsApp group so you can join us later in Stockholm if needed.
Morning:
City walk around Östermalm with a light guided tour.
Lunch:
A relaxed meal together — a great chance to get to know each other.
Afternoon:
We split into smaller groups (or you can have some alone time) and do various activities: shopping, walking, or the Opera (if you have tickets).
17:00:
We will head out to Skeppsholmen and visit some museums with free entrance.
19:00:
The host returns to Uppsala.
Social focus
This is more than a sightseeing trip — it’s a social and cultural event. You’ll meet new people, share experiences, and enjoy the day as a group. Some of us have tickets to the Opera, but unfortunately it is sold out.
Fee & spots
A small coordination and admin. fee of 50 SEK, swish to 0708 109623.
You pay for your own travel and food. Museum entry is free.
Limited to 15 participants for a friendly, personal group.
Travel & details
We’ll take the pendeltåg train from Uppsala (UL/SL). Exact train time and meeting point will be shared in the WhatsApp group or by email.
