You're invited to this fun, creative, social, and fun event! We will be painting in Central Park under the guidance of a master artist! Please bring something to sit on (towel is fine).

Included: a pre-sketched canvas, unlimited painting materials (brushes, acrylic paints etc.) and a take home bag. We do not give out smocks so please dress appropriately.

This is a BYOB so bring your drinks & snacks - have yourself a picnic while getting instruction for painting! If you are bringing certain types of "drinks", please be discreet in Central Park 🙂
DIRECTIONS TO FIND THE GROUP:
We are located in a cul-de-sac at PINETUM EAST. We will be behind this row of benches (right under the trees). If you are coming from the east side you can find us by entering Central Park on East 84th street. Walk up the ramp, cross over the road and head west. If you are traveling from the west side we are east of the basketball courts. We will email you with more precise instructions after you sign up.What to expect:
• Step-by-step, group-oriented painting instruction, which is designed to simultaneously entertain and enlighten our members.
• We'll have a professional artist guide you through a featured painting that is yours to keep and proudly display. And don’t worry — no experience is necessary.
• 2 hour course lead that teaches you the art of mixing colors, blending and painting techniques.
• All supplies provided - 12x16 pre-sketched canvas, unlimited acrylic paint (water based), brushes, and aprons.

Our friendly host will welcome everyone and then you'll be grouped off into breakout rooms where you'll get to meet, chat with and play fun social games with the other singles in attendance. At the end of the event you'll be able to select people you'd like to stay in touch with (the matching works similar to speed dating... we explain the matching in more detail below).

WHAT IS THIS EVENT ALL ABOUT?
This is entirely new and revolutionary type of event for singles! We love the idea of traditional speed dating but sometimes it's hard to come up with things to talk about. That's why at a Dating Games Online Singles Game Night you'll have fun, easy games to play to get to know everyone instead of dealing with the usual dating "job interview" type questions. We find that it's a much better way to get to know someone! You'll be put in Zoom breakout rooms with a small group of singles and you'll play games that will help you get to know each other. Some rounds you may be with small groups of 4 to 7 people and some rounds you may be 1 on 1 with someone of the opposite gender much like traditional speed dating. Essentially, you'll work with the other people as a team and compare answers with the other teams. Each round we change up the teams to make sure you get to meet and get to know everyone in attendance (we explain the games in more detail below).
HOW THE "MATCHING" WORKS:
At the end of the event all of the singles attending are invited to put their email address in the group chat so that other interested attendees can contact them. If you're not comfortable putting your "every day" email address you can use an alternative email address or you can make another email address to use for the event. Yahoo, Outlook and Gmail allow you create several free email addresses and setting one up takes about 3 minutes. Then after the event you can feel free to email any people you'd like to see again. If people email you it's up to you if you'd like to reply to them.WHAT KIND OF GAMES WILL WE BE PLAYING?
The fun games are set up to break the ice, help you gauge compatibility, make quality connections and to have a really fun night. An example game we like to play is "Dating Feud" which is similar to the popular prime time TV show we all know. In this game you and your group will be asked fun relationship style questions like, "Name a gift that women love men to give them". You will work together with a small group of singles to come up with what you think is the most popular answer and then you'll find out if you got the top answer. Another game we play is "Would You Rather" where we ask you fun questions like "Would you rather live the rest of your life without ever being able to watch a movie ever again or would you rather never be able to listen to any song/music again?". You answer the question and then you have to try and pick the most popular answer. You're then brought back from the breakout room into the main room to hear how everyone else answered the question.
