This is by far one of the best dodgeball experiences you can have. Mix trampolines with this sport and you have one hell of an exercise and tons of fun. If you have tried this out I strongly suggest signing up. The ball are light and made of foam so you wont have to worry about getting hurt. Typically we could only limit the event to 20 people, however at this new location we can have more than one court going at a time so more people! The fee is $13.00 for 1 hour of dodgeball and there is an additional one time fee of $2.00 for special socks that are required by this establishment. The socks yours to keep and you can use them every time you come after it. If you bought the socks during our last dodgeball event, then you do not need to purchase them again. If there is any questions or concerns please let me know.
It's that time again! The first Tuesday of every month is free beer education at Growlers. The beer tasting regularly includes a sampling of various beer styles (Past examples include: IPA, Cask conditioned beers, Imperial pumpkin ales, coffee stouts, Rye ales, Chocolate stouts, several local, NC, or national craft breweries, and more), with a knowledgeable brewery representative or beer guru to guide us through the various flavors in each beer. The tastings are informative and fun, and there is ALWAYS a great crowd to meet and socialize with. Come out and join us for a beer and conversation, and socialize with some Awesome Urban Adventurers! FOR NEW ADVENTURERS: This is an excellent event for new members to the group, as we are quite welcoming and hard to miss. Hint - We are the big group of friendly people in the middle, either sitting at or hovering around the big table. If you are new to the group, consider trying to find one of the group organizers and introduce yourself. We are happy to introduce you to other fellow adventurers. See you there!
Come and experience all the fun with Highland Dancing, Bagpipe Bands, Highland Athletics, a Giant Kid's Zone, Scottish Merchants, Haggis, Historic Reenactments, Scottish Country Dancing, Sunday Church Service, Hearth Cookinig, NC Beer and Wine, Whiskey Tastings, Kilted Running Events, Scottish Clan Societies, Shoot Long Bows and Blowguns, Throw a Battle Axe and so much more!
For the meetup, we will explore once of my favorite Charlotte gems - Taco Tuesday! These are some of the best authentic tacos in town, and budget friendly too, with: $1 Tacos at La Authentica (formerly La Unica), (Pro tip - The Pastor and Chorizo tacos and Homemade Salsa are amazing!!!) After party: Craft beers at Moo and Brew, (across the street) The event will start at 6:30 in the bar area of La Authentica for drinks and socializing. After dinner, we will wander next door for craft beers around 730-8 for the afterparty. WE ARE LOOKING FOR FUN PEOPLE TO HOST EVENTS! Part of the event will be coming up with ideas for new and fun things to do over the next month. We are particularly looking for hosts that would like to try hosing a try-out-a-new-restaurant meetup, painting/art party, active event (biking, yoga, etc), game night, or meetup at a brewery event. Do you have any ideas? We would LOVE to hear them! Come join us for the best Tacos in town and Beer!
