RESCHEDULED- Explore Fall Colors at the Arboretum
This is the new day and time for the October meetup. The days are growing shorter and colder, and the leaves are starting to fall! Let's celebrate the beauty of this season in one of Seattle's most beautiful locations, the Washington Arboretum. As always, this is a casual, self-paced walk that focuses on building mindfulness and appreciation for nature. All are invited to come along for this morning stroll, including well-behaved dogs and older children with adults. As we enter the fall season, we will need to prepare for the possibility of showers. Be sure to wear warm clothes, closed-toed shoes and come prepared for the rain if it seems likely. Unless it's really pouring, the walk will go on! Also feel free to bring a light snack and water so you stay hydrated. After our walking meditation, we will do a guided meditation at the gazebo and have discussion/snacks afterward. I will provide water and a few nibbles for anyone who forgot theirs :) Donations are appreciated, but never required. This will be our second-to-late meetup for 2018...with more to come next year!

    What we're about

Seattle is full of amazing green spaces ready to explore! Join us for walking meditations in one of Seattle's many great parks to experience nature and develop mindfulness techniques. We will meet up at least monthly to do walking meditations and share our experiences, with other possible meetups planned as well.

No experience necessary and all levels are welcome. You do not need to follow a druidic path, or be of any spiritual inclination whatsoever, but a healthy desire to connect with nature and build awareness will help!
