What we’re about
This is a group that celebrates and explores Los Angeles and the rich community of people who live here. Like an urban village with deep roots and diverse flavors . . . L.A. is to me an Urban Pueblo. =) I'm looking forward to planning a wide variety of activities: from lectures at the Downtown Public Library to Dodger baseball games at Chavez Ravine; from the Farmer's Market in Barnsdall Park to the Tamale Festival in McArthur Park. =) Let's go to Grand Central Market, Angels' Flight, The Hollywood Bowl and Pershing Square. Let's explore the L.A. River and the Metro Rail. We'll check out the Downtown Art Walk and listen to music under the stars at the California Plaza. Let's find art, culture, and community in our little pueblito, Los Angeles.
