A Crash Course in Getting What You Need from Google Analytics

Details

You know Google Analytics is a powerful tool that can help you understand how users interact with your site. But how do you actually use it? This crash course will give you the basics they need to get started analyzing user behavior and making data-driven design decisions. Get the basics on setting up your account, finding the data you need and interpreting Google-speak.

- Understand what Google Analytics can do “out of the box” and what needs additional set up.

- Google has its own terminology. Learn what terms like “bounce rate” and "event" really mean.

- Get better (and more!) data from your account by turning on advanced features.

- Dive into my favorite features and get specific examples for how to evaluate your site’s performance.
