This group is for the Atlanta UX Research community. Anyone who practices or wants to learn about user research is welcome and we're striving to build connections between startups, enterprise companies, agencies, consultancies, and freelancers. UX Research can be a lot of different things... you might call it "market research," "usability testing," "analytics," "growth marketing," "qualitative research," "ethnography," "design research," or "customer discovery." But no matter what you call it, if you care about the human element in design or engineering, you're invited to learn with us.
Do you need to quickly prioritize potential new features with your customer base? Are your features too complex for feedback via a survey, but you don't have time to complete 1:1 interviews? Learn about a structured focus group technique that Amanda has used to quickly gather feature priorities from multiple customers without the "groupthink" that comes with a traditional focus group.
Amanda Nance is a Sr User Experience Researcher at Ultimate Software focusing on strategic research initiatives in the Human Resources software space and has been advocating for users since 2002.
We'll have time after the presentation for questions and answers, and welcome you to share your ideas on this topic as well.
