Summer of T: Traits and Policies

Hosted By
Richard T.

Details
This Summer, Utah C++ Programmers will dive deeper into template programming techniques. This builds on our discussion of compile-time programming from November, 2017. If you missed that presentation, no worries, we've got you covered!
Richard Thomson will give us a presentation of two common template programming idioms: traits and policies. What is a trait? What is a policy? When do I use one over the other? How do traits and policies interact with static polymorphism? (What is static polymorphism?) These are some of the questions we will answer as we explore this fundamental template idiom.
Food will be provided, so please RSVP so we have a proper head count.
