Todd Stottlemyer's BIO:

Todd Stottlemyer joined Inova in July 2015 as chief executive officer of Inova Center for Personalized Health (ICPH). Mr. Stottlemyer is responsible for developing and growing all activities on the 117-acre ICPH campus, which includes Inova Schar Cancer Institute and Inova Translational Medicine Institute (ITMI). In addition, Mr. Stottlemyer also currently serves as Chair for the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC).

Mr. Stottlemyer previously served at Inova in 2009-10 as executive vice president responsible for information technology, biomedical engineering, innovation, international business, compliance, risk, legal, communications, government relations, community affairs and philanthropy.

Prior to returning to Inova, Mr. Stottlemyer was CEO of Acentia, LCC, a provider of software, information technology and management solutions. In 2013, he was recognized by the Washington Business Journal as one of the Washington, DC, region’s 50 “Most Admired CEOs.” In 2014, he was recognized by Virginia Business as one of 31 people “…making their mark on the Commonwealth’s economy.”

Mr. Stottlemyer currently serves as rector (chair of the Board of Visitors) of The College of William & Mary, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree (Phi Beta Kappa). He received a JD (cum laude) from Georgetown University Law Center and is a member of the Virginia State Bar.

Todd’s ABSTRACT:

Todd Stottlemyer, Chief Executive Officer of Inova's Center for Personalized Health will share Inova’s vision and mission around how big data and analytics plays a part in supporting their mission. ICPH is leading the charge in leveraging science, technology and research to conduct groundbreaking studies to collect data and utilize sophisticated laboratories, including the Inova Laboratory for Genomic Medicine, to store and analyze these data to improve patient care.

Shawn Dolley BIO:

Shawn Dolley is Cloudera's Industry Leader, Health & Life Science. Shawn leads the Cloudera precision medicine and Cloudera Omics solution vision, roadmap and offering, and helps customers develop use cases on the business side of research discovery and translational medicine. Shawn co-led the Healthcare & Life Science industry practice at Netezza, and when acquired by IBM was a part of IBM's Public Sector industry practice. Shawn designed a Health Outcomes Analytic Appliance in conjunction with Brigham & Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He has worked with Dr. Paul Grundy, the godfather of PCMH, on methods to apply analytics to large populations and real world evidence. He has presented to and collaborated with multiple providers, payers, pharma, and research organizations, as well as Big Data technology providers. Shawn has worked in data modeling, metrics, analytics and workflow since 1995. Today, Shawn’s most focused work is on repeatable, affordable solutions for whole genome/exome downstream analytics at scale matched with clinical/phenotype and public data, toward precision medicine and biomarker & drug discovery.

Shawn’s ABSTRACT:

With the recent launch of President Obama’s Precision Medicine Initiative and the Cancer Moonshot, genomics is in the news more than ever. By 2020, the amount of stored genomic data will surpass all total YouTube, Twitter and astronomy data combined. Shawn will talk about our amazing journey to being able to query millions of patients’ clinical data for insight into the genome of each one of us.
