This Meet Up site is and open forum for any mental health professionals to create and host groups to proliferate the connections to our greater community of mental wellness providers. Any individual, group, agency or organization may host a meet up with approval. It is the hope that we have created a tool for all to utilize to build awareness and capacity to grow our local profession. The group meet ups are to create opportunities to learn, grow and support one another in the development and proliferation of the mental health field of therapy. Meet ups can be for the purposes of education, support, networking, social connections and community awareness.

Like their clients, therapists need a space to process, explore, and receive support. This group seeks to create a safe environment to support fellow therapists in our community, to discuss the challenges in our field, and to use these opportunities for growth. These opportunities may include: building confidence in your skills, practicing self-care, managing vicarious trauma, making the most of your supervision and other resources, acclimating to your new role as a mental health practitioner, and developing a professional network for referrals.
