As we enjoy our raw fruits & veggies, we will take turns sharing our dietary journeys and have a chance to ask for support in continuing them. Afterwards, we'll have the usual opportunity to enjoy each others company, network, etc. in the condo or adjourn to the Jacuzzi to enjoy a hot soak in the cool Arizona fall air. Please remember to bring a bathing suit (required) and towel. His new place is one block west of 24 Carrots in Tempe on the north side of Guadalupe Rd. Seating is limited there, so please bring a folding chair or cushion.
Bring a plate, bowl, platter, basket, or bushel of your favorite, entirely vegan fresh fruit - no need to prepare a dish. With the goal of keeping things as eco-friendly as possible, please bring enough personal, reusable-if-possible utensils, plates, etc. for yourself and any guests.
Directions from US 60:
Exit US 60 at McClintock Dr. and turn south. (If you're coming from Mesa or points east, it would probably be faster to exit US 60 at Loop 101 southbound and proceed as below.) Turn right (west) at the light at Guadalupe Rd. Drive past 24 Carrots on the left, pass the first right, then turn right in the next driveway, which has a small sign that says "La Tierra 1402." Go straight to the end and park in any UN-NUMBERED spot in the pool area. From there walk southeast and look for building #6. Jeffrey's is up the second staircase from the end on the east side of the building--it's the left unit, #233. It's the weekend, so check for freeway closures before you set out. Exit Loop 101 at Guadalupe Rd. and go west 1 mile. Pass the light at McClintock Dr. and proceed as above.
