Wondrous VEGAN thanksLIVING Potluck in Mesa!

Celebration! Exaltation! Emancipation! Please join us as we sink our teeth into Nature's finest bounty, and let the taste of joy roll across our tongues, for a Vegan thanksLIVING Community Potluck at the Soul Center in Mesa on Thursday, November 25, starting at 4pm! Our annual ThanksLiving Potluck is an opportunity to enjoy an abundant array of delicious vegan food alongside members of our thriving compassionate community. Tantalize your taste buds and break bread with us as we partake in a delightful feast for the eyes, tongue, and body at this sumptuous event. You'll discover new and creative dishes, consisting of savory and satisfying flavors, from foodstuffs found only in Nature. Get Real. Have Fun. Enjoy Life. With us! Hosted by our very own Stephanie!

Please bring a vegan dish to share (no meat, milk, eggs, butter, cheese, or honey). We are aiming for a combination of appetizers, fruit and veggie salads, side dishes, main courses, desserts, and non-alcoholic beverages. For people not familiar with the term "vegan," that generally means foodstuffs free from animal products and their derivatives. This includes all dairy products, honey, and whey. Please bring an ingredient list to place next to your dish on the serving table (this is to protect anyone with food allergies and to share all of our delicious recipes).

Follow the guidelines below if you are not sure what to bring:
A-J: If your last name begins with A through J, please bring a main dish or salad.
K-R: If your last name begins with K through R, please bring a side dish or appetizer (mashed potatoes and vegan gravy welcomed!)
S-Z: If your last name begins with S through Z, please bring a dessert.

Also, with a goal of keeping things eco-friendly, please bring your own portable kitchen tools: forks, spoons, knives, serving spoons, plates, bowls, beverages, napkins, etc. for yourself and invited guests.

The event is FREE to attend, but there is a recommended donation of $5 to help cover the costs of renting the Soul Center.
