Come and talk all things EV at our coffee meetup
Don't forget to vote, whether before or after our Meet-up. [As Randy Bachman says, when signing off his Vinyl Tap program on CBC Radio "Think and do something green!"] Café Loafe will be open, as usual, so you can enjoy their baked goods and coffee. Inside or outside, look for the group, from 11-1. This will be another great opportunity for electric vehicle enthusiasts, owners, wannabe owners, and those who wish to learn about EVs to come and join us for a coffee and chat. Whether you're thinking of buying an EV or are already an owner and wish to ask questions, you're welcome to come and explore the pleasures of gas-free motoring. Grab a coffee and come and sit down a while. Parking and Charging There is a 2-hour free parking lot to the west of Thornton Street, free parking along Northern Way or street meters which are $1 per hour just to the north and east of the building. (See map in the picture below.) We have permission to use the EV charging spaces in the faculty, staff, & student parking lot, provided there is a clear VEVA ID on the dash.

    What we're about

VEVA was registered Feb 1, 1988 under the Societies Act of British Columbia as a Non-Profit Organization that promotes the use of Battery Powered Electric Vehicles. While our membership is drawn largely from the lower mainland we have members from all over BC as well as other provinces and states. Many of our members have built electric vehicles including passenger cars and bicycles. We meet monthly to discuss current events, projects under development and to plan for various events which we attend each year promoting the concepts of Electric Vehicles.
