Virtual Reality is not only created for experiencing games in a 3D environment, but can also be used as a tool in education. By introducing Virtual Reality in the classroom it can aid students in the process of developing greater understanding, e.g. visualization of abstract principles that are hard to relate to. Examples of common technologies that are already used in education today are smart boards, personal computers and lately tablets and phones with various applications. Virtual Reality has the potential to improve students understanding by making subjects more visual and interactable, as well as making the learning more enjoyable and engaging, which is one of the pillars of education. In our application, students learn the basics of electronics by constructing circuits, connecting components, and changing their values. We believe that the instant feedback that VR offers, both visual and auditory, is superior to traditional laboratory material and will improve students understanding.
18.20 - 19.00 Joint venture - can we develop something together?
