What we're about

Inviting all Open Technology Foundation enthusiasts to support all kinds of innovation that reflect in Digital Transformation of India. In this context we continue to work with Open Infrastructure Program / Project teams to support emerging trends beyond Cloud Computing. This is reflecting the industry trend towards utilizing new services over existing and emerging Infrastructure.

The idea is brainstorm about Open Infrastructure, Full Stack from Linux to AI,ML,DL and other innovations that combine with open infrastructure (IoT, Edge, 5G) to enable new cloud native applications/services & Eco system that breeds innovation and Vendors to derive value from such events.

We are evaluating Mentor-ship Programs based on both Merit and communities that get less representation in Technology. We are experimenting and will introduce same after reopening on colleges past July 2019. Stay tuned for upcoming changes to refoucs on priority of ours to help you all seeking appropriate feedback from you all.

OTF Infra Innovation Labs (I2L)

Online event

OTF is delighted to announce I2L (Infra Innovation Labs), a 3 month journey for Innovators to Implement apps, along with Kubernetes platform. This platform is aimed at helping aspiring students to learn driving cutting edge infrastructure and then implement innovative ideas on top of it. The I2L platform will be a progressive period for the participants that will hone their technical skills and help them understand industry trends. Since the majority of Enterprise, Government Organizations, and industries worldwide are looking for automation with Intelligence, Kubernetes (K8s) has become the de-facto choice for under cloud infrastructure. Adding intelligence to both infra & apps is a way to innovate reducing operation costs and embedding intelligence through Machine Learning concept using specialized devices. Cloud-native containerized workload is here to stay using Hybrid hosted Kuberenets, We have decided on the following tracks this year. - Cloud-Native App Development - GitOps & Kubernetes Orchestration - Virtualization and VM based deployments - Machine learning models & Container-based deployments The overall process is divided into four stages: 1) Learn: Self-learning paths/Checklist will be provided to the participants so that they get aware of the tools and technologies. Learning path is available on https://linktr.ee/i2l 2) Engage: Hands-On tutorials will be provided as an exercise to the participants so that they get an operational experience of the core concepts. 3) Assemble: In this stage, participants will assemble together and work as a team for the next stage. Moreover, professionals working in the respective domains will guide them to enhance their knowledge and make them ready for the last stage. 4) Build: The last stage of this process is the Hackathon. Participants will have to pick a topic from listed Use cases and solve the issue. These Use cases will be real-life issues faced by end-users. Moreover, there will also be liberty for the participants to pick up their topic of interest (provide it has no objection from the panel). To start Learn or Engage (Stage 1 & 2) you must fill the following Pre-team formation registration before Nov 30th, 2020) Register now at https://linktr.ee/i2l Note: - Assemble Stage (Stage 3) will start only after Nov 30th, 2020 - Team size must be between 1-5 members. (This team registration is open to those who have completed both Learn & Engage Stages.) - Exciting prizes for winners and gifts/swags for participants. Call for Mentors: Professionals working in the respective technologies and interested in mentoring the participants are whole-heartedly welcome. Please provide your details so that we can get back to you https://linktr.ee/i2l
