Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park is a local favorite in the East Bay! This route (Phillips, French, and West Ridge Loop) will take you on a shaded trail under a shady canopy of gorgeous redwoods that characterize the park. Although it is considered a "moderate" hike, some parts of the trail are quite steep (there's a 748-ft. elevation gain over the course of the trail), but this quick trip into nature is worth it. We'll carpool from the Fairfield-Suisun Amtrak station and perhaps grab a bite to eat on the way back. Bring water and cash.

We can meet outside of Journey Coffee and walk around the lake as the sun sets. I would like to do this somewhat regularly on Mondays for anyone who is interested. As the days are longer, we’ll have more sunshine, and we can walk around multiple times if we’d like.

Our host will not be available in June so we won’t be gathering as a group, but that just gives you more opportunity to prepare for the July event. In the meantime, feel free to join us for any other upcoming events.

Once a month Journey Downtown hosts a night of worship. We should be there, but if you were afraid to go alone, feel free to join us for the June event. 2026 is almost halfway done. Let's celebrate the summer with our voices raised in praise. It will be a lot of fun, and I know that we will feel fulfilled and blessed.
