Valley Girls Tuesday Night Book Club is about enjoyable reading for women who want to experience good books--period.  Doesn't matter the author, genre or medium.  In fact, I would encourage you to try different media when reading.  Try an audiobook every once and a while--as long as it's unabridged.  Makes those car rides go a lot faster!  I'm not a slave to having the author be a woman or it necessarily even about being 'women's issues' (whatever those are) but would like to pick interesting stories.  We will move around between fiction, mysteries, memoirs, non-fiction and so on.

As of January 2010 there will be a meeting fee of $2 to help cover costs as the annual Meetup fees.
As a note, we follow a rather relaxed format.  I'm not a fan of lists when it comes to reading.  I am not a slave to a list of questions--perhaps because my predecessor was just that.  It became tedious.  Do not however think that the absence of a list assumes that we are not prepared.  Some people like a list and more power to you.  If you are that person this might not be the group for you.
This is important: YOU MUST READ THE BOOK IF YOU ARE GOING TO ATTEND THE MEETUP. If you can, try to finish it. It's not always possible, but we don't want to ruin the ending for you at the Meetup.
We will be meeting at different places throughout the Valley.  Also, if you don't attend a meeting nor visit the site in 6 months, I will remove you just because it might not be a good fit for you and I'd like to keep it open for more active members.
