Description

Node.js is taking over. Built on top of Chrome's V8 JS engine it uses event-driven and non-blocking I/O model that makes it lightweight and efficient. With world's largest package ecosystem, and now under Node.js foundation, there's not a lot Node.js can't do. We will talk about how to get started with Node.js and some suggesions around common pitfalls to avoid. We will also talk about future of Node.js and explore (possibly endless) possibilities.
