This is a group for the procedural 3D modeling / animation / VFX / gamedev software ...Houdini! We welcome everyone, from Houdini experts to complete beginners who want to get started with Houdini. This group is a mix of visual effects artists, animators, game developers, modellers, VR creators, motion graphics artists, etc. While Houdini is the main focus of this group, we will also be discussing other related 3D software and game engine tools.
Time to launch this years VHUG T-shirt competition

Ever wanted to celebrate whats great about Vancouver and using Houdini in the city?
Well now's your chance. Following on from last year successful design by Serjan Burlak, we are looking for a fresh design for 2019.
This is not an official SideFX shirt, but this is 100% an official Vancouver Houdini User Group T- shirt and will be available to order after the competition ends.
-Open to ALL VHUG members.
-Other software can be used but the majority of the project MUST be Houdini. WIPs and/or description of process to be submitted with entry.

-Competition Start - 12noon 25th July 2019
-Competition Ends - 11:59pm 12th August 2019
All entries to be received at [masked] by 11:59pm 12 August 2019
-Community vote - 7:00pm 14th August 2019 - 11:59pm 18th August 2019
After the admins have checked the entries, voting will be kicked off at the VHUG meeting at Image Engine on 14th Aug and run online til Midnight Sunday 18th
- A free T shirt and the reward of seeing your design on your fellow VHUGers for years to come ... or til it gets replaced by next years design!
