Testing in Live Environments

Details

A couple of years ago, if someone would have mentioned that they test their code in production or live environment - Neha would have probably freaked out and would have given numerous reasons for why we should never be doing that! However, over time, she has come to the realization that testing in production is not that bad after all - especially if done right and with minimal business impact.

In this presentation, we will talk about:

  • Neha's own journey about discovering the importance of testing on live environments
  • Why do we need to test in production or live environment
  • By investing time in production testing, how you can save yourself a lot of effort and, save the business some expense later on
  • How to include production testing in your release process
