Humans love solving problems with our beautiful prefrontal cortexes.
As Project Managers, problem solving is our bread and butter. We gather information, bring teams together, create consensus and execute.

But, what happens when the solution isn't so straightforward? When your team has hit a brick wall, is burnt out and the room is tense with a deadline looming?

In March, we introduce the Anti-Problem Gamestorming workshop. We solve a problem by brainstorming solutions for opposites to the problem. The more complex the problem is, the more this new approach to brainstorming may highlight new ways of thinking about how to approach them.

Bring your people. Developers, designers, researchers, and writers can all get a ton out of thinking differently about their approaches. Let's do some big, blue-sky thinking.

Hosted by Rachel Gertz and Ritika Rakshit, your friendly Vancity DPM Organizers.

But first! A lightning talk by our newest yearlong sponsor, Nicole Tiefensee, Cofounder of Runn.io, a brilliant data driven cashflow and forecasting tool that helps you plan your work more effectively.

LIGHTNING TALK
Building an open and data driven work culture

Being data driven doesn’t just mean collecting more data and hiring more analysts. It requires an open culture, where data is shared and everyone has access to the information they need to make good business decisions. We’ll explore what it means to be data driven and what it takes to get there.
