VEF Vision and Mission

VEF Vision: To be the premier networking event in Vancouver for technology entrepreneurs.

VEF Mission: To bring sponsors, speakers, members and partners together in a fun, relevant and vibrant event each month, designed to stimulate ideas, conversations and connections.

In Brief

Established in 1988, the Vancouver Entrepreneurs Forum (VEF) is the premier networking forum for technology entrepreneurs in Greater Vancouver. VEF strives to create and catalyze collaborations, supporting technology entrepreneurs with the tools and mentorship they need to successfully launch and grown their enterprise. VEF seeks to expand the involvement of academic supporters and industrial partners at its events, so that the knowledge and innovation we cultivate in our post-secondary communities can pollinate industry and further propel British Columbia's technology forward.

Eight events are held each year – usually on the fourth Tuesday of the month from September through May. Many of our events sell out with an average of 200-250 attendees per event. Participation at a VEF event provides attendees with personal connections, assistance with the identification of industry partnerships, academic faculty, management talent, financial agencies/investors and educational resources for developing and growing enterprises in British Columbia.

Our yearly events schedule aims to bring you quality events with great speakers.

VEF has approximately 2000 members and subscribers to event marketing communications along with a social media following of 4,000+. As a not-for-profit B.C. Society, VEF is supported by its sponsors, members, volunteers, and by event attendees.
