Danielle Benzon is a hands-on voice coach who will, just for us, reveal how the voice/body instrument works as it does. Her talk will include the history and science of speaking, and, if time, a kind of biological voice/body instrument user guide for introverts. The history and science behind public speaking will include sound amplification techniques through the ages, the physiology of making sound, and tips like how to be heard in a noisy room without pushing your voice.

Danielle has an MA in Acting from E15 Acting School and is certified to teach the Meisner Approach through the True Acting Institute. She coaches corporate voice and in-person communication skills through Inspired Coaching ( http://www.GetStageJoy.com ).

Meetup agenda: First hour: a talk, including answers to questions. Second hour: open discussion ofthe topic.

AFTER-MEETUP SOCIAL: The Group Organizer invites members to attend an after-meetup social gathering at The Hidden, a quiet hotel lounge across the street. [When there's a lot of people, some of you may decide to meet at a cheaper (i.e., louder) place instead. It's up to you.]
