Technical transformations, especially those with little or no business logic changes, are difficult to justify and even harder sometimes to accomplish. Object to Functional paradigms, Interpreted to compiled languages, and frameworks that sound closer than they turn out to be are the subject of this talk. Why do it? An in-progress update on the good, bad and ugly elements of that transition are discussed.
