Vancouver HashiCorp User Group 2018 Kick Off

Join us for the first 2018 Vancouver HashiCorp User Group Meetup at Bench. The schedule for this Meetup is as follows:

• HashiCorp Product Updates - HashiCorp has been busy improving on the Open Source product suite and adding a few new products and releases. (10-20 mins)

• Simplifying Vault Key Management Workflows with Keybase.io - J-M Archer from Bench (20 mins)

• Bridging Past, Present, and Future infrastructure with Consul - Anubhav Mishra shows how Consul can help bridge the gap between various types of applications that might exist in a datacenter at any given time (20-25 mins)

Schedule

• 6:00 pm - Doors Open - Pizza, drinks and socializing

• 6:30 pm - Presentations Start

• 8:00 pm - Open Networking, may be go to a bar?

About the speakers:

Anubhav Mishra is a Developer Advocate at HashiCorp. He previously worked at Hootsuite where he built distributed systems and micro service delivery platform. He loves Open Source software and is constantly finding ways to contribute to projects that excite him. He is really passionate about helping developers and operators do better.

JM is a Senior Software Engineer in the Platform Team at Bench. While there he built distributed systems, architected the company CI/CD infrastructure, and wrote countless of internal tools (to be open sourced). While a strong proponent of static typing he somehow always ends up writing way too much bash.
