Save-the-date! A Fall Maker Education Salon (Fraser Valley) of 2015 will take place on Sat Sept 19! Building off the success from the Vancouver MakerEd Salon, we would like to bring Fraser Valley makers together to continue to build the Maker Spirit in BC. We will focus on highlighting educational projects facilitated by local teachers, museum staff, coders, librarians, artists, hackspace members and enthusiasts across the valley, followed by brainstorming, BBQ and networking.
Interested in starting some new DIY (Do It Yourself) or DIT (Do It Together) programming? Wondering what MakerEdBC is all about, or just want to meet some makers? Join us! This is the perfect place to get inspired and share your passions.
A highlight of the meetup will be a tour of the amazing Maker tools housed at the University of the Fraser Valley Trades and Technology campus in Chilliwack. It has all the making of a TechShop! After the tour, UFV will host a BBQ.
