Code Club for Teens

Details

Bring your current project to work on in a collaborative environment and meet others who are interested in learning to code or improving their coding skills. Each week we'll have a short talk or video to introduce a different programming language, library, or topic.

Get help brainstorming projects, figuring out next steps for learning, or for getting unstuck.

We recommend bringing your own device, but will have a small number of Raspberry Pi workstations to play with, along with controllers and sensors to try out. We can also bring out Lego WeDo robotics, Little Bits synth kits, BBC Micro:bits, or Makey Makey devices to experiment with.

This was a drop-in, and you can still do that, but we do ask that you register on the library site if you're attending so we have an idea how many are coming and what their interests are: https://yourlibrary.bibliocommons.com/events/search/q=code%20club%20for%20teens
