Sometimes product launches go out as planned, sometimes all hell breaks loose. Sometimes the best realized plans fall flat, other times controversial features turn out to be a hit.
In this session, we are going to tell you about 5 recent - and very different - product and feature launches: what worked well, what didn’t, and what we’ve learned in the process. We hope you learn from our experiences and we’re looking forward to learning from yours.
Bios:
Paul Doerfling is a Product Manager who cut his teeth in product working with SaaS companies using agile development practices. He enjoys building software that solves real market pain, and takes joy in working both sides of the strategic and tactical planning required to bring great products to market.
Partho Ghosh is a Product Owner & Agile Coach with a focus of working with eCommerce and SaaS companies in scaling Agile. He recently joined Unbounce as the 1st Product Owner with a focus of building highly empowered, autonomous development squads. Previous to that he’s been a Product Owner & Agile Coach at companies such as MEC, Staples and his own consulting firm, The Agile Link.
Owen Rogers is a Product Owner and Agile Coach who has coached teams on four continents to deliver higher quality software, faster. He worked at Pulse Energy, building it up from a startup to an 80-person company working with the world's largest energy utilities. He currently operates his own consultancy, Exortech Consulting, helping clients deliver best software, faster.
Meagan Sobol is Product Manager who is passionate about building good products, not just good features. She loves the day to day challenges of both Product Management and Product Ownership.
Himali Tadwalkar is a Product Marketer at Unbounce, a leading landing page and conversion optimization tool for marketers and digital agencies. Recently moving from Toronto to Vancouver, Himali has had front row seats to the expansion of the Canadian tech space at growth-phase startups where she builds creative and scalable strategic programs for customer acquisition and user adoption.
Tory Pearson was Unbounce’s first product marketer and helped build the company go-to market process, target market alignment, competitive analysis and buyer personas. Prior to joining Unbounce she worked for Hootsuite helping to build the government vertical on the sales team.
