In our 2nd #VANSMAC meetup, we'll address a fundamental, but often overlooked aspect of development: securing your code. Whether you are building web or mobile apps, security should not be an afterthought.

This month our speaker is Peter Lee, IBM Security Systems Technical Specialist. I asked Peter to provide SMACers with a solid introduction to common hacking techniques (SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF, etc) and how to secure your application by identifying such vulnerabilities.
