Do you enjoy going to spiritual/new age/heart and consciousness-focused events? Or perhaps you would like to share the info about your spiritual event with others? If your answer is yes, this group is for you!
This is a very open meetup, and you are welcome and encouraged to post your events here as long as you are respectful of the spiritual choices of others.
The goal of this meetup group is to help us get together to celebrate our spiritual awakening and transformation and create, experience and share with others beautiful and powerful group energy by participating in different spiritual events happening in the city of Vancouver, meeting like-minded people and expanding our spiritual community. In the world where we've spent so much time training our minds to be extremely busy at all times, our main concentration will be on opening our hearts through participating in group meditations, workshops, retreats, chanting, dancing, drum circles, yoga classes, spiritual concerts and performances and much more.

Cacao is a sacred food and plant medicine. As powerful as it is gentle, it is renowned for opening the heart.
You’ll be supported by this loving plant medicine, Matthew’s sacred music, and a small, cozy gathering of kindred souls.
Cacao is the raw, purest form of chocolate…but drinking it ceremonially is worlds away from the experience of eating a chocolate bar!
When you take the time to meet cacao with gratitude, intention, and reciprocity, it teaches you to reconnect with your heart, tend your relationships, and live on purpose guided by the vision of your soul.
As human beings, gathering in ceremony is our birthright.
It is who we are, and how we evolved.
This is a celebration that we can continue to gather, with purpose.
Our ancient ancestors and medicine people used sound and music to help us heal our bodies, communicate with nature, and open to the spiritual realms.

For the last 3 decades, Matthew Kocel’s life work has been centered around creating sacred space and healing with his voice, music, and teachings.
A respected leader in the global sound healing movement, he has released 3 albums and traveled extensively to share his sonic medicine.
