Session Two - Testing Workshop - 3hrs

A group session where participants are given something to test to get familiar with the process. You’ll get comfortable with running a test, without the pressure of a live situation. When you come to test your own product during the workshop, you’ll be able to get the best out of the session. This is a working session so please bring your laptop and power adaptor!

User Testing + Prototyping 101

Build something and they will come; design something and they might just stay a while and use it.

User testing will help you fail faster and cheaper, before you have written any code. It will help you test what you are planning to do and apply what you have learned into the design of the product. It can be implemented throughout the process. Testing & Prototyping is a fundamental part of delivering in design in digital. Without it, you risk wasting time and effort but also poor adoption and user rates.

This is a two-part session that will get you under the hood of user testing and its underlying principles. Once you’ve understood those, you can shape a testing for your own unique situation.
