A bunch of announcements below! Hope everyone is well.
Volunteer at Startup Weekend
Start-up weekend volunteers (Nov 18-20)... we're hoping for about a dozen people to commit to a full day or evening; they'd be helping with organizing and managing the event. This will include check in, helping get things set up for the presentations and they get to come to the Gala on Sunday night. Anyone interested can email us: [address removed]
(This is a great chance to dip your toe in the water without committing to a full 54 hours, I am one of the 12 volunteers!)
As our group gets larger we are always on the look out for better ways to connect entrepreneurs seeking a co-founder. CoFoundersLab has offered a free service which will help us make make introductions online. Think of this as a database of people interested in connecting with like-minded people in the startup space.
This is not national yet just in a few select cities like Washington, D.C. and now Vancouver as the first city in Canada. It's a new service created by DC Community member Shahab Kaviani, you can help grow the movement by creating a profile.

Lean Startup Lunches
Introducing the LSC Vancouver Lunch Club powered by Wednesdays.com
We have teamed up with Wednesdays.com, an awesome startup that connects people in the real world. Wednesdays.com has been running lunches for Lean Startup Circle members in San Francisco since July, and feedback has been fantastic. We’re bringing these lunch clubs to Vancouver beginning with our first lunch at noon on November 30th. Space is limited, so:
Can’t make it? To hear about future events, sign up for the LSC Lunch Club here. This is how it works:
Members who lunch are sorted geographically and will receive invitations when lunches occur near them Pre-pay for your lunch online (no haggling over the tip or check) The group will be small (4-8 people) so that you can really connect
Update your RSVP for IRAP Presentation
Tomorrow's presentation with Rizwan from IRAP is overbooked. There are over 20 people on the waiting list. If you are not going to make it tomorrow, please update your RSVP so that someone else can take your spot.
