Time permitting, we may also look at theme editing using Jetpack’s CSS editor.

The session will be split into 2 days:

Friday July 12: 6pm — 8pm:

Participants will install WordPress on their own laptops. Good/recent/up-to-date working PCs and Macs only. Participants may opt to install WordPress on a hosting provider, but we cannot guarantee that Internet access will be up 100% of the time.

Please note that all participants will need to have WordPress up and running on localhost or at a hosting provider. Localhost set up and help will not be provided during Saturday’s session.

Saturday July 13: 9 — 5pm:

Very in-depth overview, yet WordPress is soooo vast, it just scratched the surface. The material covered was enough though to get us started.

Anyone know about a Wordpress Bootcamp coming to the city? I've heard rumours, but no dates.

    June 16, 2013

    • Christine R.

I haven't heard about such rumours. What kind of Bootcamp are you looking for? I think that there's another theme weekend coming up and Ladies learning code may put on another training day, but other than that, I haven't heard anything. There's WordCamp of course. Tickets are going on sale tomorrow I think and you can get more info at http://2013.vancouver...

Hi Christine: I believe that's exactly what I was looking for - assuming it's for intermediate and advanced users. Thanks... I'm signing up! Keeping my radar open for another Ladies learning code as I missed the first one.
