Steven Masuch – The Stuck Progress Bar Mystery, Or: Roadrunner’s Lament, Or: Well-Meaning Documentation May Be Leading You Down A Twisted Path

"Odd bugs need some odd debugging. Steven Masuch gives a lightning talk about one such bug."

Parveen Kaler – Hyperscaling iOS: Doubling Team Size. And Then Doubling Again

"Earnin has grown from a team of 4 mobile engineers to a team of 10. We are growing to a team of 20 engineers by the end of the quarter and 40 engineers at the end of the year. Parveen will describe the tools, techniques, and processes used to grow the company as fast as possible."

Paul Goracke – Code, Layout, and Design for Dynamic Type

"Apple has made great improvements to the ease of supporting Dynamic Type in our apps, but has remained fairly quiet on guidance around handling the flexible layouts and design issues that result. This talk will cover the implementation fundamentals, autolayout tips, and design considerations that will enable your apps to be enjoyed by users across a wider spectrum of visual acuity."

The event is at the VFS animation campus across from Woodward's, located at 151 West Cordova Street, in Theatre 105.
