WHY SPEED FRIENDING AT OUR Valentine's Day PARTY?

In our speed friending, we arrange for you to meet and chat with each other. This gives you an easy and convenient way to meet new people in a way that completely dissolves barriers. This is NOT speed dating and so you will be meeting both ladies and gentlemen in mixed groups. The intent is to create friendships.

One of the greatest benefits is that this tears down the walls of shyness. This speedy connection opens up the door to allow you to easily communicate and party together with other members of the group. Speed friending allows you to identify other people with common interests.

You will be able to bring in the new year with people you know and like. It will be amazing!

Here’s how it will be set-up:

Half of the group (mixed gender) will be in a fixed standing place and the other half of the group (mixed gender) will rotate. During these 3 to 4 minute intervals, each pair of people will get the opportunity to talk to each other. In about 60/90 minutes you will meet 10 to 15 new ladies and gents!

We will meet from 7.00 pm onwards. You should come early if you want to make new friends. (If you come late you will miss this). The Speed friending part will start exactly at 7.30 pm onwards and continue till about 8.45pm, so please try and be there on time. After 8.45 it is drinks and mingle and party!

• If you feel a bit shy, not used to meeting new people, a bit awkward then this is the format that will work great for you. If you are a confident socialiser then this format will make it even more amazing!

Our function room is booked for Lauryn/Meetup.

We have 11 meetup groups in Vancouver with over 35,000 members and we will be inviting members between the ages of 21 to 60 from most of these groups. You will always find a large group of ladies and gentlemen of your age group. (Members of our other groups who RSVP are included as guests of the organiser in your group in order to give you an idea of expected numbers.)
