A lovely route with varying scenery. Firstly we travel through Borders farmland along the Four Abbeys Way toward Kelso, past the racecource and then along quite back roads up to Duns. We'll have lunch here at Borders Baguettes in Duns Market Square.
After lunch we cycle along the southern edge of the Lammermuirs through Westruther - exposed moorland on this section, and then descent into Lauder. Biggish climb out of Lauder and then a rlloing descent back down to Gala, over the Tweed and into Melrose.

Time: wheels roll at 10-00am so allow time for bike faffing

Distance: 95km / 59 miles
Ascent: 870m / 2854ft
Pace: approx 13-15 mph, lots of regrouping.
Essentials: helmet, snacks, spare tube, fluids, emergency contacts, banter...

This is a very scenic route that we did last year. It starts in West Linton and heads over to Blyth Bridge. We then will go to Dolphinton and onto the busy main road for a short section. We turn right to Dunsyre and go past Little Sparta. Then we go to Newbigging and into the back of Biggar.

Then we head to Broughton for lunchand past Dawyck Gardens and Stobo Castle before heading back to Romanno Bridge and West Linton.

Distance: 46 miles
Elevation: 2500 feet
Pace: this isn't a fast ride, it will be at a social pace, no-one will be left behind. Please don't fly off the front! Newcomers welcome :-)

A gravel trip through the Trossachs taking in Lochs Ard, Chon, Katrine, Achray and Drunkie.
We meet at Aberfoyle and work our way round clockwise. Cafes at Stronachlachar and Loch Katrine pier can provide suitable refreshments.
I've done some of this route before but not all of it. From what I know it isn't very technical made up mostly of rough forestry roads not manicured grit paths, so be aware of your off-road capabilities. The section round Loch Katrine is tarmac.
Plenty places in Aberfoyle for post-ride drink/food.

Pace: approx 10mph depending on terrain, lots of regrouping. No one left behind
